Create an Account and Sign In
Select “Try it free” below to open the Stable VPN user dashboard’s account creation page, then choose a username and password. No email address is required. Use a username that’s easy to recognize but doesn’t reveal sensitive personal information. Choose a unique password and store it in a trusted password manager.
After submitting your details, follow the page prompts to open the user dashboard. If you’re still on the sign-in page, log in with the username and password you just created. Make sure you can access your account overview before choosing a plan. If you already have an account, sign in with it. You can find future orders, subscriptions, and support tickets in that account, so avoid switching accounts and losing track of an active service.
“Try it free” is the entry point to the dashboard; available features are shown there. Creating an account and activating a plan are separate steps. After creating your account, check your plan and subscription status before looking for routes in the client. If you’ve forgotten your password or see a sign-in error, read the account and subscription guide on the support page. Never post your password or full subscription link in a public forum.
Choose a Plan and Review Your Order
Open the plans section in the user dashboard and first compare monthly subscriptions with data packages. Monthly subscriptions are suited to ongoing use. Current options are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Monthly data resets on the day the subscription starts. Consider your usual browsing, file transfers, and video streaming, then choose an allowance that fits. You don’t need a different plan for each client platform.
Data packages are consumed as you use them and never expire. Current options are ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. They’re billed differently from monthly subscriptions, so check the plan name, price, and data allowance before placing your order. All plans support unlimited devices online at the same time. Device count and data allowance are separate: keep an eye on usage across your devices.
Once you’ve chosen a plan, follow the dashboard prompts to create an order, check the total, and pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Check the dashboard for payment confirmation. If the order status hasn’t updated, return to the orders section to check before submitting again. Stable VPN offers a 60-day money-back guarantee. See the Terms of Service for full details.
Once your subscription is active, continue to the subscription link step. If you’re upgrading a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days; refer to the upgrade result shown in the dashboard. To compare plans first, see the plan pricing page. The button below takes you straight to the plans section in the user dashboard.
Get and Save Your Subscription Link
Once your plan is active, open the account overview in the user dashboard and find the subscription section. Your subscription link lets a client retrieve the route configuration available to your account. It isn’t a regular website address or an installer. Use the dashboard’s import option if available. Otherwise, copy the link and paste it into the client’s subscription settings.
Before copying the link, make sure you’re signed in to the account with the active plan. Paste the copied link directly into the client’s URL field. Don’t paste it into a search engine or share it publicly. Check that the full link is intact, with no extra spaces, line breaks, or quotation marks. The client may also ask for a local name; use “Stable VPN” to make the configuration easy to identify.
If the dashboard offers multiple import options, choose the one that matches your client. Don’t guess based on icon placement or repeatedly import a link that isn’t compatible. After adding the link, the client needs to fetch the subscription before it can display routes. “Link saved” and “routes updated” are two different states, so check the update result in the next step.
Treat your subscription link as sensitive account information. When sharing a screenshot for help, hide the full link, QR code, and account details. If you suspect the link has been exposed, first check whether the dashboard lets you reset it, then update the configurations on your devices as instructed. For more on getting, updating, and protecting your link, read the beginner’s guide to subscription links.
Clients and Subscription Import by Platform
Sign in to the user dashboard and open the client downloads section. Choose the platform for your device. Downloads are available according to your active subscription permissions in the dashboard; this page doesn’t provide direct installer links. Download options and access requirements vary across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. Follow the client instructions in the dashboard. Linux is also supported; see the downloads section for details.
These steps apply to clients that support subscription management: install and open the app, find its subscription or configuration manager, add the link, update the contents, then select the configuration you just imported. If the dashboard offers one-click import, your browser may ask to open the client. Confirm that it’s the intended app before proceeding. If no prompt appears, copy and paste the link manually.
Windows: Add a Configuration from the List
In the dashboard, choose the Windows desktop client and install it as directed in the downloads section. On first launch, open the configuration or subscription manager and look for an option to add, import, or add from a link. Paste the subscription link copied from your account overview into the URL field, enter a local name, and save. Then update the subscription. When routes appear, select this configuration instead of leaving the empty default selected.
If the link is added but no routes appear, check the update result for formatting or network errors. Then return to the dashboard and copy a link compatible with your client. If you need to enable system proxy or network routing, choose a mode and grant system permissions according to the client’s instructions. Start with the default settings, then adjust routing rules only after verifying the connection. For more detailed desktop instructions, see the Windows setup guide, from installation to connection.
macOS: Check Network Permissions After Importing
In the downloads section, choose the macOS desktop client that matches your system and device, then install and open it as instructed. Some clients are accessed from the menu bar. Look for configuration, subscription, or remote configuration management. Choose the option to add from a URL, paste your subscription link, save, and update. Once the route names appear, set this configuration as active, then open the connection page and select a route.
The first time you enable network features, macOS may ask you to approve a network extension or VPN configuration. Confirm the prompt comes from the client you just installed, then follow the system instructions. If the app says it’s connected but browsing hasn’t changed, check that the right configuration is selected and that system proxy or network routing is actually enabled. Don’t change several network settings before verifying the connection, or it’ll be harder to tell which change affected the result.
Android: Add a Subscription and Approve the Connection
Get the Android client from the user dashboard, install it, and open the subscription or configuration list. Choose an option such as Add configuration or Import from link, paste the complete subscription link, and save it. Then update the subscription manually and check that routes are available to select. If the dashboard supports opening the client directly, still check the configuration list after import rather than relying only on the browser prompt.
When you select a route and connect, Android may ask you to approve a VPN connection. This is the system step that allows the app to handle network traffic. Confirm the app name and continue, then check the client status. If the connection drops when the app goes into the background, review battery management and background activity settings, and follow the client’s instructions. Verify that the connection works in the foreground first, then troubleshoot background behavior separately from subscription import.
iOS: Get and Import a Client Using the Dashboard Instructions
Check the iOS client instructions in the dashboard’s downloads section, then follow the link to the App Store. Before installing, check the app name and compatibility requirements. Availability depends on what’s currently shown in the store. After installation, use the dashboard’s import option for your client. To import manually, look for Subscription, Configuration, or Import from URL in the client, then paste your link and update the contents.
Once the route list has loaded, choose a configuration and route, then connect. iOS may ask you to add a VPN configuration; check the client name and follow the system prompts. After the connection indicator appears, verify access to the website you need. If the update fails, return to the subscription settings, check that the link is complete, and confirm your subscription is active. Reinstalling the app is usually not the first step in troubleshooting subscription issues.
Connect to a Route and Verify Your Connection
Return to the client’s main screen and check that the active configuration is the Stable VPN subscription you just imported. Select a route in your target region and connect. For your first connection, choose a route that matches the region of the service you want to use. Avoid switching routes repeatedly before checking that the connection works. Once the client shows a connected status, open a browser and visit the website you need. Check that the page, sign-in, and content all load normally.
Next, open the IP lookup page to check your current exit IP. Compare the results before and after connecting to see whether browser traffic is using the expected route. With split tunneling, different websites may take different routes, so one lookup result won’t reflect every app. To verify that the connection works, consider the client status, proxy mode, and actual access to the website you need.
If a website still won’t load, first check that your plan is active and data is available. Then check whether the subscription updates successfully, and finally confirm the selected configuration, route, and system connection setting. Change just one thing at a time—for example, switch routes and revisit the same site—to make the issue easier to identify. Multiple network proxy apps running at once may conflict. When testing, make sure you know which client is handling network traffic.
If only one app fails, note the app name, selected route, client message, and whether other websites are accessible. When submitting a support ticket, describe the steps you took and hide sensitive details in screenshots. Don’t include your password or full subscription link. For common connection and update issues, see the support page. For protocol differences and the trade-offs between direct and relayed routes, read the technical reference to protocols and routes.
Once you’ve verified the connection, keep the working configuration. If the dashboard indicates that routes or subscription contents have changed, update the subscription in your client first, then check the route list. When switching devices, sign in to the dashboard again to get the right client and import the subscription. Don’t publicly share the full configuration file from your old device. You’ve now completed the setup process: account, plan, subscription, client, and connection verification.
